Abstract

Free mixing among teenagers is no longer a strange phenomenon in our society today. Even casual sex is already considered part of the life rituals of our society, especially among the younger generation. Factors that cause promiscuity among teenagers; it can be concluded that although the reasons are sexual relations or extramarital sex, they stem from several internal factors such as mutual love, proof of love, and curiosity. From families with incomplete parental structures and even less attention from their parents towards their children, partners who often invite sex, where sexual relations occur such as at friends' houses, their own homes, fields, and even in dark and quiet places, the number of sexual partners is 76.8% who have boyfriends and besides that, friends even uncles, sources of information about sex are friends, boyfriends, and the internet/porno. Health complaints after having sex, pregnancy outside of marriage, and abortion. (Purnama, 2020). (Nurhayati et al., 2019; Santy et al., 2021). Free Association Among Teenagers at SMA Negeri 9 Purworejo is an activity conducted by lecturers from the Institute of Business and Health Technology Bhakti Putra Bangsa Indonesia as a manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Based on the situational analysis, several issues faced by the partners can be identified, namely the lack of knowledge, family support, and communication space to obtain accurate information about Free Association Among Teenagers. The proposed alternative solution is to provide counseling on Free Association Among Adolescents at SMA Negeri 9 Purworejo and conduct an evaluation. The implementation of the activities includes planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection. The results of the activities include increased knowledge, changes in attitudes and behavior, and the prevention of free association.
