PELATIHAN INFORMATIKA UNTUK PESERTA OSN DI SMA MEGERI 11 PURWOREJO

The National Science Olympiad (OSN) is a science competition for elementary, junior high, and high school levels. This activity does not only depend on student abilities, but also requires active support from the school. SMA Negeri 11 Purworejo participated in various OSN fields, including Informatics which includes Mathematical Logic and Algorithm-based code compilation. However, training for OSN participants has not been optimal due to limited teacher time. In response to this, a team of lecturers from the Bhakti Putra Bangsa Indonesia Institute of Business and Health Technology implemented a training program and in-depth study of OSN Informatics materials as part of the Community Service (PkM) activity. This activity aims to improve students' understanding and ability to solve OSN questions. The method used consists of three stages: needs analysis, training implementation, and evaluation. The results of observations showed an increase in student abilities, as seen from their analytical and problem-solving abilities. One student even managed to qualify for the provincial level. However, there are still shortcomings in its implementation, so follow-up is needed as preparation for the following year's OSN.
