EDUCATION OF MOTHERS OF BABIES TO TODDLER ABOUT THE CONTENTS OF MY PLATE IN PREVENTION OF STUNTING THROUGH POSYANDU ACTIVITIES

Healthy and quality human resources are the main capital or investment in health development. Development of the quality of human resources can be optimal if a community-based health service system such as posyandu is implemented effectively and efficiently and reaches all targets who need health services for children, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and postpartum mothers. The aim of this activity is to monitor the growth of babies and toddlers through posyandu activities and education about the contents of my plate in preventing stunting. Community service activities were carried out in RW 27 Mojosongo Village, Jebres District, Surakarta. The targets are babies and toddlers who come to the posyandu on June 25 2024. The methods used are 1) Identifying the child's condition through anamnesis with the parents, 2) Measuring height and weight, 3) Interpreting the results of measuring the child's height and weight into the WHO curve, 4) Conveying measurement results to parents, 5) Providing education to parents about the nutritional status of babies and toddlers and counseling about the contents of my plate. The results of the posyandu activity were carried out on June 25 2024, attended by 79 targets consisting of 10 babies (12.7%) and 69 toddlers (87.3%) and all babies and toddlers had MCH books and were brought to the posyandu (100%). Delivery of information on weighing results and education on the contents of my plate in preventing stunting is carried out verbally to parents/deliverers.
