Amid the development of digital communication technology today, all levels of society are required to always keep up with technological developments, especially communication. Moreover, digital marketing trends and interactive media are increasingly being implemented in all fields of life. The community is also required to have design skills in an effective and efficient way. Based on the above problems, the author made this community service activity to provide knowledge and training in improving basic design skills using Canva. The training activities lasted for 4 weeks, starting with a presentation session, followed by an interactive question and answer session, and ended with independent hands-on practice. The target group that participated in this activity consisted of teachers and students of SMK Bharasa Purworejo. There were a total of approximately 80 participants who attended the event, and then divided into 4 classes. Through this activity, teachers and students gained mastery of Canva, namely designing posters, creating animations and editing videos. The results of the service that the author did, they were mostly familiar with Canva but they did not really understand the techniques in designing such as color theory, graphic design elements, especially not knowing about the updated features in Canva. After this activity, it is hoped that teachers and students will be able to use canva in creating social media content and interactive media.
