This study aims to analyze employees' perception of work culture in Indonesia and its impact on work-life balance. Work culture is one of the important factors that affect employee performance and well-being, especially in the context of balancing professional responsibilities and personal life. This study uses a survey method by collecting data from employees in various industrial sectors in Indonesia. Respondents were asked to provide their views on aspects of work culture, such as collectivist values, hierarchy, and flexibility, as well as how these factors affect the balance between their work and personal lives.
The results of the analysis show that employees' perception of an inclusive and supportive work culture contributes positively to work-life balance. Conversely, a rigid and stressful work culture tends to lead to imbalances that negatively impact employee well-being. These findings underscore the importance of developing a work culture that can support work-life balance as a strategy to improve employee well-being and productivity. This research is expected to provide insights for company management and policymakers in designing a healthier and more balanced work environment for employees in Indonesia.
