These efforts are particularly crucial during the exclusive breastfeeding period, defined as the first 0–6 months postpartum. A preliminary study conducted at the Independent Midwifery Practice (PMB) of Rosida Himawati, S.S.T., Bdn, between January and September 2025, identified 135 breastfeeding mothers with infants aged 0–2 years; of these, 123 were breastfeeding, while 12 were not (comprising housewives, entrepreneurs, civil servants, farmers, and laborers). The study aimed to identify factors associated with lactation management among breastfeeding mothers at this practice in the Tambakrejo area, Purworejo District. An analytic observational study design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study population consisted of all breastfeeding mothers attending the practice. Total sampling was used, and data were analyzed using the Chi-square test. Results indicated significant associations (p < 0.05) for the variables of knowledge (p = 0.018), family support (p = 0.02), and income (p = 0.001). No significant associations were found regarding education (p = 0.825), place of delivery (p = 0.403), occupation (p = 0.774), or age (p = 0.997). Husbands and family members are encouraged to provide emotional support, information, and assistance with maternal care during the breastfeeding period. Midwives have a strategic role in promotive and preventive efforts through evidence-based midwifery care to reduce NCD risk factors. Objective: To analyze scientific evidence regarding the effectiveness of evidence-based midwifery care in preventing NCDs in women throughout the life cycle. Methods: This study used the Literature Review method referring to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Literature searches were conducted on PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Wiley Online Library, and Google Scholar for articles published in 2020–2025. After the process of identification, screening, and eligibility assessment, 7 articles were obtained that met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed narratively. Results: The synthesis showed four main themes, namely the integration of NCD prevention in midwifery services, promotion of healthy lifestyles, implementation of Midwife-led Continuity of Care, and utilization of mobile health (mHealth). These interventions contribute to improved early detection of risk factors, changes in healthy lifestyles, increased adherence to antenatal care, and strengthened continuity of midwifery care. Conclusion: Evidence-based midwifery care plays a crucial role in preventing NCDs through a promotive, preventive, and continuous approach. Strengthening midwives' competencies and integrating NCD screening into midwifery services are necessary to improve the quality of women's health throughout the life cycle.

Keywords: midwifery care, non-communicable diseases, evidence-based midwifery, continuity of care, systematic literature review.
Catur Setyorini Dwi Indah Wulandari Wulandari Hepti Widia Ningsih Atina Maya Fadhila Copyright (c) 2026 Catur Setyorini, Dwi Indah Wulandari Wulandari, Hepti Widia Ningsih, Atina Maya Fadhila 2026-07-21 2026-07-21 17 1 1 8 PREGNANT MOTHERS' PERCEPTION OF INTEGRATED ANTENATAL CARE SERVICES IN THE BRAGOLAN HEALTH CENTER AREA, BANYURIP DISTRICT, PURWOREJO REGENCY http://ejurnal.ibisa.ac.id/index.php/jkk/article/view/484
Integrated ANC includes maternal neonatal tetanus elimination (MNTE), anticipation of nutritional deficiencies in pregnancy, prevention of malaria in pregnancy (PMDK), prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission (PMTCT), birth planning and prevention of complications (P4K), prevention and treatment of STIs/UTIs in pregnancy, elimination of congenital syphilis (ESK/CSE), and management of TB in pregnancy (TB-ANC), as well as dental health checks for pregnant women.
